Self-compassion as a practice
Everything I do and create is rooted in self-compassion as a practice, with a focus on all of the things you CAN control in the here and now. Welcoming your experiences without judgement creates a deeper connection with yourself, your life and everyone around you. Practicing self-compassion makes room for a more joyful, easeful and authentic life in which you know who you are AND are able to always find your way back to yourself.

Hi, it's me, Shirley!
A few years ago I decided to stop making my life any harder than it already was. And since then my life has been perfect.
Okay, that's a lie.
But thanks to my self-compassion practice I do get closer every day.
Nope, that’s not true either.
I DO know myself better than ever before (don’t we all?), I know what does and doesn’t work for me (most of the time) and I definitely know how to find my way back to my authentic self after I've taken a (usually involuntary) break from her. And this is what has made my life so much more easeful & joyful.
