Get out of your head, into your life and come home to yourself.

Everything I do and create is rooted in self-compassion as a practice, with a focus on all of the things you CAN control in the here and now.
Welcoming your experiences without judgement creates a deeper connection with yourself, your life and everyone around you.
Practicing self-compassion makes room for a more joyful, easeful and authentic life in which you know who you are AND are able to always find your way back to yourself.

No matter if you’re struggling with overthinking, self-criticism, the 3 p’s (pleasing, perfecting & proving), boundary setting or a lack of self-trust, the practice of self-compassion can help. That’s why I create online toolkits stacked with easy & empowering exercises, practical visualizations, and other fluff-free guidance to help you cultivate self-compassion and, with that, create a life that feels lighter, brighter and a hell of a lot more true to you.

Here's what I know about you.

  • You often find yourself daydreaming about all the things you would be doing if you were just a little more confident, a little less stuck in your head, and a shit ton less hard on yourself.
  • You’ve tried following the advice of ALLLL the gurus, but het lijkt nooit écht te werken voor jou It might inspire you, and it might work for a little while, but it always leaves you screaming on the inside: BUT HOW!?
  • You started this journey into self-discovery & self-transformation because you wanted to feel more powerful and at peace in your daily life. But you keep hitting roadblocks.
  • And you feel that if only you had the tools to find your way back to yourself and the present moment anytime you need to, you could ACTUALLY start to feel calm, confident & connected, and you'd know how to keep it that way.

That’s where I come in.
I’d love to help you get there.

Shirley de Koster

Hi, it's me, Shirley!

A few years ago I decided to stop making my life any harder than it already was. And since then my life has been perfect.

Okay, that's a lie.

But thanks to my self-compassion practice I do get closer every day.

Nope, that’s not true either.

I DO know who I am, what does and doesn’t work for me and how to, time and time again, find my way back to my authentic self. In other words: I know how to get myself out of my head, into my life and come home to myself. And this is what has made my life feel so much lighter, brighter & a hell of a lot more true to me.

You want this too. And that’s why you’re here. Welcome!

Here’s what other people have to say about working with me:

‘’I love your wisdom and how you’re able to explain certain concepts in a different way. It helps me navigate whatever I'm going through like you're a mentor/coach/teacher.’’
- Robin
‘’Shirley instantly takes you back to your core. Suddenly I can see and feel again what’s right for me. So wise, warm and sincere. Shirley really is a (self-)compassion queen!’’
- Kirsten van den Berg, coach
‘’Shirley is a delightful person to listen to. Listening to the audio felt like being wrapped in a warm blanket. Shirley, thank you for your calm presence and your wise words.’’
- Iris, blogger

Let’s cultivate more self-compassion together!
